Let's match

Yesterday Kelsea wanted her toe nails painted pink and blue so we did. She was so excited she thought they looked like easter eggs. She wanted me to have matching toe nails, but since I can hardly reach my toes around my big belly we had to ask Scott to paint them. Kelsea has been beside herself with our matching "easter egg toes." She even has been thanking Jesus for our toes.

This morning she asked if I could get a dress to match her for church. I told her they don't make that dress in my size and she said, "just ask the person who made my dress to make a big one for you," as if it were that easy. We ended up wearing matching jewelry instead. She also insisted that we wear matching lip gloss and then proceeded to explain to me how to put it on, repeating herself 3 times.

Eggs Are Protein

Kelsea has been learning about her body at school and what is good to put into it. She is learning about the food pyramid and what types of food she should eat and shouldn't eat. The other morning she came to the kitchen and asked, "can I have eggs for breakfast because they are protein and that is good for me." She comes to me constantly saying, "I can have a little of this (candy) because it is in the sweets category, or I can eat a lot of this (grapes, bananas, etc.) because it is in the fruit category." So it looks like we may have a nutritionist in the making. It is nice to see that she is learning something at school because she will never give us details as to what she is learning.

February 27th

My mom came up for Rusty's birthday. We had a great time Mema took Rusty (and the rest of the family) to Safari Sam's for his birthday. It's kind of like a Chuck e Cheese except way cooler. They have the largest indoor jungle gym in Oregon, miniture golf, video games, jumpers, and of course pizza!!

Rusty's birthday party

We had Rusty's 3rd birthday party at a place called JJ's Jump. It's a big warehouse with about 5 jumpers. The kids were so busy and climbing through the jumpers/obstacle courses so much it made it practically impossible for us to get pictures of them in the jumpers. The kids had a ton of fun.

fun pictures

We have been very fortunate to have kids that love to read. All of them will sit and listen to stories all day. They even get them out and read to themselves. Some of them are memorized and they will "read" to Hunter.
The kids all have computers and love to "work" together. This paticular time was especially sweet because Rusty wanted to use Kelsea's computer but Hunter had it. Hunter didn't want to trade with Rusty but he did trade with Kelsea who then traded with Rusty.

Jam Packed

We got a new game to play with the kids. It's a bit challenging for them since it's acutally for older kids, but they love it. You have to pack a car (and get the trunk closed) with various items before the timer goes off and throws everything back out.
I love Rusty's face as the stuff gets thrown back out of the car.

Silly boy

Hunter is such a silly boy. He loves to make us laugh. The other day he was picking his nose which looked so funny to us since he has such a short fat little finger. We laughed which I think was mistake because now he does this whenever he wants to make us laugh. I try to tell him yuck and move his finger but he has become very persistent.
